GetPaid Philippines (GetPaid Philippines Inc.) is in the business of providing earned wage access to employees of our partner companies. By interacting with us, submitting information to us, or signing up for any of our services, you agree and consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your personal information by GetPaid in accordance with this Policy and the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

This Policy supplements but does not supersede any consent you may have previously provided to us, nor does it affect any of our rights at law regarding the collection, use, and/or retention of your personal information.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

1.1 “Personal Information” refers to any data that identifies you as an individual, such as:

Name, government-issued ID (TIN, SSS, UMID, Passport, Driver’s License, etc.), mailing address, email address, mobile number;
Financial and payroll-related information such as your bank account number or payroll records;
Employment-related details provided by your employer to facilitate the service.

1.2 “Sensitive Personal Information” refers to data such as government-issued numbers, financial information, and other identifiers classified as sensitive under Philippine law.

1.3 We may also collect non-identifiable technical data when you interact with our site or mobile application (e.g., cookies, IP addresses, device information).

COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

2.1 We collect personal information when:

You or your employer provide it to us voluntarily for the use of our services;
It is required for us to fulfil our obligations under applicable law, contract, or legitimate business purposes; or
It is necessary to protect your vital interests, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by the Data Privacy Act.

Provide and improve our earned wage access services;
Process transactions and payroll-related disbursements;

Prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your employer, for purposes of processing your requests;

RETENTION AND SECURITY

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by applicable laws.

CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFER

As GetPaid is headquartered outside the Philippines, some data may be transferred and stored abroad. In such cases, we ensure that your personal information receives a level of protection consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

In the event of a data breach that is likely to compromise your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) as required by law.
